Great food and service. Recommended if you like or want to try Georgian dish. Also good variety of drinks

Bevri serves the tasty cuisine of Georgia, a small country by the Black Sea. I went yesterday with a group of eight and we had the $38 tasting menu (about $50 with tax and tip, plus beverages)--a bargain and a great introduction to this unique cuisine. Don’t miss the khinkali, little dumpling pouches from which you suck out the broth, and khachapuri, bread with a hole in the center in which you mix up hot cheese and an egg. Georgian wines are interesting, especially the amber-colored whites which ferment on their skins in large amphorae. Parking in downtown Palo Alto is a bit difficult. The skewered meat and chicken were a little chewy but generally everything was great. Well worth a visit.

Bevri is our favorite, go-to restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere always impress. I highly recommend it for an outstanding dining experience.

We hadn't eaten Georgian food before. We visited with a friend who had lived in Georgia for six months. He helped us order. The food and wine were quite good. I recommend the lamb kebob (well spiced!) and the amber wine.
